Under the guidance of his father, Connor learned the crafts of woodworking and carpentry as a youth, which turned into a hobby and passion of his.
At eighteen years old Connor enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard to serve his country, where he was trained as an electrician. He was stationed on cutters based in Alaska and then in Virginia where he met his wife, Abby. Soon after, he was transferred to serve at Coast Guard Sector Buffalo, where he maintained the many navigational aids on Lake Erie & Lake Ontario. The young couple both fell in love with the area & bought a home in the hills near Delevan, NY, where they started their own family.
Connor had always dreamed of establishing his own construction company, so as he was nearing the end of his enlistment he worked nights and weekends to build his business. Because of his dedication to quality work and personal service, the company quickly grew by word of mouth.
So, what’s in a name? Why “Enchanted Mountain Construction”? The Enchanted Mountains is the name given to the rolling foothills of the Appalachians that run through Cattaraugus County. No one is certain where the name for the region originated, but Connor & Abby were certainly captivated by the charming views and neighborly population in the place where they chose to call “home”.

Enchanted Mountain Construction has grown and now employs multiple craftspeople offering quality home improvements, additions, and new construction. Connor is proud to bring his craftsmanship and passion to customers in Western New York. Although Enchanted Mountain has grown into a full-service construction company, we still offer the quality and personal service on which we were founded.
